That’s Home Theater PC!
I’ve been wanting to custom build a HTPC or Home Theater PC forever and now I may have that opportunity since my ASUS P5KC Motherboard on my 2008 custom build PC has finally failed.
Though the time schedule may have been pushed up unwillingly it’s becoming apparent that a HTPC may be just what I need for a lot of what I use my PC for and that is of course for movies and music.
Separating the Entertainment aspect of home computing to it’s own computer should speed up my Office work and surfing the web in general.
So, I’ve been checking out YouTube videos about building your very own HTPC. If you’ve every been thinking of taking the plunge into HTPC check out this video by Chris on his YouTube channel “Tech Uploaded” describing his own custom build HTPC:
Of course I’d love to hear your own endeavors in building a HTPC and/or questions on the subject below…
