Programs Usually Cannot Simply Be Copied
Personal files can often be copied when the source storage remains readable. Installed programs generally cannot be transferred by copying their folders. They normally must be reinstalled and may require an installer, product key, subscription, account sign-in, or approval from the software provider.
Older applications and devices may not work with current Windows versions. I will identify obvious compatibility concerns when possible, but continued support is controlled by the manufacturer or developer.

I can install agreed-upon software and help connect appropriate accounts when compatible versions, valid licenses, subscriptions, installers, and credentials are available. You may need to enter sensitive passwords or verification codes yourself.
Peripheral and Personalization Setup

If the same problem returns because of the workmanship performed by PCRuns, I will inspect the equipment and correct the covered workmanship without an additional labor charge.
This limited workmanship guarantee does not cover unrelated or newly developed problems, forgotten or changed passwords, account-provider decisions, software subscriptions, unsupported applications or devices, Windows or application updates, cloud-service changes, customer-made changes, hardware failure, malware, physical damage, misuse, or data loss.
Computers, replacement parts, software, online accounts, cloud services, and peripheral devices remain subject to the warranties, terms, support, and availability provided by their respective sellers, manufacturers, developers, or providers.
Your Files, Accounts and Privacy
I use only the access reasonably needed to perform the setup and transfer work you approve. Personal files are handled for the purpose of copying, organizing, or confirming the requested transfer—not for unrelated review.
No transfer method can guarantee that every file, program, setting, email, browser item, or account will be reproduced exactly on the new computer. Keep the old computer and any existing backup unchanged until you have reviewed the new system and confirmed that the important files are present.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make the new computer exactly like the old one?
Not exactly. Many personal files and preferences can be transferred or recreated, but programs normally require reinstallation, and differences in Windows, hardware, licensing, cloud services, and application support can change how the new system works.
Can you transfer all of my programs?
