Please do not provide sensitive information that PCRuns has not requested. Whenever practical, enter passwords and verification codes yourself rather than sending them through ordinary email.
Information Collected When You Visit the Website
Like most websites, PCRuns.com and its hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and content-delivery services may automatically receive technical information. This can include:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser, device, and operating-system information
- Date and time of access
- Pages viewed, referring pages, links selected, and approximate location derived from an IP address
- Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and consent preferences
- Security events, login attempts, errors, and information used to detect abuse
This technical information may be collected in server logs, WordPress records, analytics reports, advertising systems, security tools, or cookies. Some information may be aggregated or reduced so that PCRuns does not directly identify a particular visitor.

Information Encountered During Computer Service
A technician may incidentally see filenames, account names, desktop items, browser information, messages, photographs, documents, or other personal material while diagnosing a problem, locating requested files, transferring data, removing malware, configuring software, or verifying a repair.
PCRuns uses only the access reasonably needed to perform the work you approve. Personal files are not intentionally opened or reviewed for unrelated purposes.
When practical, tell PCRuns where the required files are located, enter sensitive account credentials yourself, and remove unrelated highly sensitive material before service. If a password or temporary credential is provided, change it afterward when appropriate.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files or identifiers used by websites and online services. PCRuns.com may use necessary cookies for site operation, security, forms, preferences, and consent choices. Analytics, advertising, video, social-media, or other third-party features may use additional cookies or similar technologies.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so can affect website features. When a cookie-consent control is displayed, you can use it to manage the choices it offers.
Browser privacy signals and opt-out tools do not operate identically across every service. Third-party providers control how their own systems recognize and respond to those choices.
Analytics and Advertising
PCRuns.com may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand website traffic and performance. These services may receive technical and usage information through cookies, scripts, and related technologies.
PCRuns.com may display advertising through Google AdSense or another advertising provider. Advertising providers may use information about visits to this and other websites to select, limit, measure, and report advertisements, subject to consent choices and their own policies.
You can learn about Google’s handling of information at Google’s Privacy Policy and manage certain Google advertising choices at My Ad Center.
Contact Forms, Email and Newsletters
When you submit a contact form or send an email, the information is transmitted through website, hosting, email, spam-prevention, and security systems as needed to deliver and protect the message.
If PCRuns offers a newsletter and you subscribe, your email address and subscription activity may be processed by the website’s email-delivery service. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link provided in the message or by contacting PCRuns.
Service-related messages about an active request, repair, payment, security concern, or equipment pickup are not promotional messages and may still be sent when reasonably necessary.
Embedded Content, Social Media and External Links
Pages may contain videos, maps, social-media buttons, embedded posts, advertisements, or links supplied by third parties. When you load or interact with these features, the provider may receive information about your device and visit as though you visited its service directly.
PCRuns does not control the privacy practices of external websites or services. Review the provider’s privacy information before supplying personal information or using its features.
When Information May Be Shared
PCRuns may disclose limited information when reasonably necessary to service providers that help operate the website or business, such as hosting, email, forms, analytics, advertising, security, backup, accounting, communications, parts sellers, or payment services.
PCRuns may also disclose information:
- At your direction or with your consent
- To research or order an approved part without sharing unnecessary personal information
- To comply with a valid legal requirement
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, threats, or unlawful activity
- To protect the rights, safety, equipment, systems, customers, or property of PCRuns or others
- As part of a future sale, transfer, or reorganization of the business, subject to appropriate handling of the information
Service providers and external platforms control their own systems and may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Information Security
PCRuns uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to a small computer-service business. These may include access controls, software updates, security tools, backups, limited access, and careful handling of customer equipment.
No website, email, text message, computer, storage system, backup, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send information through ordinary electronic communication when the consequences of interception would be unacceptable.
If PCRuns becomes aware of a security incident requiring notice under applicable law, PCRuns will take appropriate steps based on the circumstances and available contact information.
Retention of Information
PCRuns retains information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, ongoing service, warranty questions, equipment pickup, accounting, tax, security, dispute prevention, legal obligations, and ordinary business records.
Retention periods vary according to the type of information and where it is stored. Copies may remain temporarily in backups, email archives, security logs, or systems operated by service providers after active records are removed.
Customer files copied or recovered during service should be returned, transferred, or removed according to the approved work and practical circumstances. Customers remain responsible for maintaining their own verified backups.
Your Choices and Requests
You may contact PCRuns to:
- Ask what contact or service information PCRuns maintains about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information that is no longer reasonably required
- Unsubscribe from promotional email
- Ask a question about this privacy policy
PCRuns may need to verify the request and may retain information required for accounting, legal obligations, security, warranty records, dispute prevention, or other legitimate business needs. PCRuns cannot directly delete information controlled solely by an independent third-party provider.
Children’s Privacy
PCRuns.com is a general-audience computer-information and service website and is not directed to children under 13. PCRuns does not knowingly request personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information may contact PCRuns to request review and appropriate deletion.
