Our Process
We follow a transparent, multi-step workflow that meets all environmental and data-security standards:
- Secure Data Sanitization
- We begin by creating a full backup of your important files (if desired) then perform a Department of Defense–grade overwrite or physical disk destruction to ensure complete removal of personal data.
- Component Assessment & Testing
- Each device is disassembled, and critical components (hard drives, RAM, CPUs, GPUs, power supplies) undergo functional testing. Parts that pass our stringent benchmarks are separated for refurbishment or resale.
- Refurbishment & Repairs
- Working components are cleaned, tested again under load, and—in the case of enclosures or laptop bodies—refinished to remove cosmetic defects. Failed parts are earmarked for recycling.
- Responsible Recycling
- We partner with certified recyclers to process non-functional components (batteries, circuit boards, plastics, metals), ensuring proper recovery of precious metals and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
- Reporting & Certification
- You receive a detailed report listing sanitized devices, refurbished parts, recycled materials, and environmental credits earned. Optionally, we can provide an e-waste certificate for corporate compliance.
