The HTC Vive is a recently released virtual reality headset. The headset comes with two “lighthouses” that coordinates your room’s space with the game or application that the Vive is displaying in the headset.
The Vive can create a Star Trek “holodeck”-like experience in an area up to 15 square feet. Competing VR headsets do not offer real space mapping. The Vive requires a powerful gaming computer to run (not included) and is attached with a tether cable for video, audio, and controls.
